Former India Batsman WV Raman to be Women's Team Coach

Former India opener WV Raman has pipped established names like Gary Kirsten and Venkatesh Prasad to become the next coach of the Indian women’s team, according to BCCI sources. The ad-hoc committee of Kapil Dev, Anshuman Gaekwad and Shantha Rangaswamy has recommended Raman along with Kirsten and Prasad after interviewing 9 shortlisted candidates on Thursday.
