Root Looking at BBL Stint as Head Start for Next Ashes

England Test captain Joe Root, who is set to make his Big Bash League debut for Sydney Thunder, said he will keep an eye on certain players during the eighth edition of Australia's domestic T20 league to gain a “head start” for the next year’s home Ashes series against Australia.
